HI Everyone,
As most of you know I have a show called "Melody Lane From the Hills of Maine" every Saturday from 4-7pm at www.worldwidebluegrass.com. And I thank you all for tuning in for a listen.
I have been given another show for MONDAY from 2-4pm and I hope to see you all in the chat room for my first Monday show on May 5.
I am also doing a fill tonight from 7-9pm this evening and I will be looking for you then.

Hey all,
Just a note for your calenders.
The Record Family, who used to run the Oxford County Bluegrass Festival and The Record Family Bluegrass Festival are gonna hold a Bluegrass jamboree at the Silver Spur Dance Hall on Route 121 in Mechanic Falls on Sunday June 8th from noon - 6:00pm.
The Hemingway Brothers will be performing as well as two other local bluegrass bands to be announced soon.
This could be the beginning of a great thing as they have said that they are gonna try this show and are thinking seriously of restarting the festival in years to come if they feel they can get a crowd. PLEASE support them in this venture. These folks ran one of Maine's finest festivals for over 20 years and it would be so nice to see them start it back up again. It would put bluegrass back on the map in western Maine where there are so many music enthusiasts. I will send out the official flyer as is becomes available with the rest of the info.

Please put the weekend of June 14 on your calendar as The Bluegrass Association of Maine and the Town of Cambridge are sponsoring a weekend Picking Party on the grounds around the town hall and the adjacent field.
The Town hall will be available to us also. Food concessions will be run by the town of Cambridge Fire Department, the snowmobile club, the ATV club
and woman's extension.
There will be a chowder, chili or stew ready for
the evening on Friday and possibly Saturday nights. Something like 7 to 11 o'clock.
I'm sure this will be a fun weekend. Campers can arrive after Friday noon.
The whole thing is admission by donation with only the town of Cambridge and BMAM splitting any proceeds after the expenses are paid.
50/50 also. Door prizes.
The flier will be out on this program shortly.
